      I love the Joico products, although I would say I prefer fudge purple shampoo to the Joico one.

    Anyone have a recommendation for anti-dandruff shampoo? I've been using zinc pyrithione based (head and shoulders, cedel) but it doesn't work that well.

      Nizoral is good, albeit a tad drying if used daily.

      Want to stop the dandruff cycle completely? Put a small spoonful of pure Coconut Oil on your scalp, rub in, & leave . It's anti-fungal.

      If you have bad dandruff that just won't go away, try gently exfoliating affected areas with a facial scrub/exfoliator. Worked for me!

      Some people who think they have dandruff are in fact suffering from a type of eczema. For that, shampoos like coal tar or oatmeal (Dermaveen), or a hydrocortisone liquid (not sure if available in Australia) can be effective.

      It was years ago but I used to use Neutrogena T/Gel as it was recommended by my dermatologist and it worked for me. It contains coal tar.
