I'm in the same boat as OP, need to get a ps4 before MGS gets released 1st September. Sucks that the price went from 400ish to 500ish.

You can clearly see that the specials were all at different price points. If anything, the bundle price is actually not that bad considering, though the game choices aren't to everyone's cup of tea.
