Choosing a Wireless Router

I've recently moved into a new apartment and am currently using an old WRT54GL running Tomato, but would prefer something more modern with wireless AC (or N) and gigabit ethernet. Just needs to be a router, not a modem router.

There's heaps of choices on the market and I haven't found any reasonable simple guides to help sift through them all.
Things connecting will be:
Two OnePlus Ones (WiFi)
Two desktop PCs (Wired)
HP Microserver (Wired)
Apple TV/Raspberry Pi (WiFi)
PS4 (WiFi)

I'm after something that will happily support video streaming while other stuff is happening on the network (PS4 downloading a game for example).

So far I've been looking at:
Netgear R7000 AC1900 Nighthawk WiFi Router ~$225
Asus RT-AC68U Dual Band AC1900 Router ~$209
Linksys Dual Band Wireless AC1200 Smart Router ~$249

However, kind of stabbing in the dark at this stage. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just upgraded my Billion 7800N to something more capable of managing stacks of wifi devices all steaming to 3xchromecasts from a PLEX server…

I nearly added an Asus AC68U to it for Router purposes only, but after reading a few things online, due to my large distance from the nearest ADSL exchange I found out the TP-Link Archer D9 was a good modem for long line lengths.

Went to officeworks and got them to pricematch a mobileciti sale, was $229 from them, ended up with a new modem/router for $216. (I think officeworks wanted over $300 originally)

After using speed test on my iphone/macbook/gaming pc and getting various pings (100-300) and various download speeds (1.8-2.6Mb/s)
They now all get 25-26ms ping and all get 4.3-4.31Mb/s download.

Good luck, all I can say is I'm very impressed with AC1900, everything now streams so smooth without interruption since they share dual networks
