Is it supposed to come with a receiver, or is that an add-on where they assume you already have a mouse? I purchased one a week or so ago and when I unpacked this morning discovered there is no receiver. Not that big an issue, as I do already have a mouse, but had thought it would be handy to have a spare.

Thanks for that. Now that you mention it, I did notice that it didn't have a tape seal on the box, but didn't think much of it at the time. Shall chase them up for it.
The box should say what it comes with.
Its reasonably common for people to steal the Unifying receivers to use with their cheaper devices that came with only the nano receiver.
is it tucked in the slot at the back of the keyboard for safe keeping??
Yes all logitech devices do come with one.

Even the product description page says it has a unified receiver at the top.
Was the box sealed? Was probably stolen if not.
