    New customers or existing?

You can rate plan change if you're existing but I don't really see any benefit unless you didn't get the recent double data or need the infinite calls to the ten countries on the high plans

  • A wee disappointed that they've removed "all countries" from the IDD list. Yes, you get unlimited to 10 countries, which is great; and 120 minutes to "Selected"; but what about the rest? Extra charges! Unlike the previous plans (not just Red), where the included minutes could be used to ring any country!

It will only be the occasional call and yes I realise we all use VoIP mostly, but still, there are people who need call minutes.

I have recommended Vodafone to friends based on this fact (where coverage is a non-issue), where their existing provider has a list of countries you can call without incurring extra charges and may not include the countries you want to call.

  • I guess it reflects the changing way we use our phones, now almost everyone has smartphones.

Seems to be the way most providers are going…. increased/unlimited call allowances, and essentially the amount of data dictates the price.

  • Thanks for this. I have a $30 plan with Voda with $300 call value and 300MB data, so just changed them to $30 red plan with unlimited calls & the same 300MB data. I use 1-2 hour of talk time daily so now I can just use the mobile!

  • They had an opportunity to re-open favourites packs.

3 GB is affordable but not $40(+38) type of affordable for mid range 40 dollar plans>
22GB Under the new structure looks to be 11x$3 +$5 to lock in 28d only,
& that's what eats in to the wallet. Got 18gb currently. (at no extra)

or shall we look forward to a campaign drive instead±?

  • they've also decided to 'rollover' their data plans to keep up with Optus/ VirginMobile etc… Telcos!
