    $528 Worth

    Nope, $90 at best….

    • Our RRP is determined by cellar door RRP, thank you for your feedback however. To better aid us with future offers, are you happy to provide feedback as to how the 14 bottles listed are worth $90?

      • So you normally sell these wines for $528?

      • happy to provide feedback as to how the 14 bottles listed are worth $90?

I believe they are worth $6.43 each.

        • I will pass on your feedback to our sales team, thank you very much

          @Danswineden:

I will pass on your feedback to our sales team

Maybe you should check things with your legal team before going to the sales team…

  • Not at all, $528 is the combined Recommended Retail Price of the 14 bottles

    • You claim that this deal is a $278 saving, but still haven't answered when you last sold these for $528.

You are aware that making price comparisons to a price you never sold something for previously is both misleading and more than likely illegal…

once again, RRP on wines come direct from Cellar door prices

claiming price savings from RRP when you don't normally sell them for RRP is against the law…

    • nice research, better than JV's claim, not a wine snob.
so, the 4 bottles worth $100, the rest 10 bottles will be about $15/bottle, which is good price for the awards winning wines.
however, I wont pull the trigger for $250/case, someone will but NOT a must buy, unlike the WineMarket deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/206124 with equally good wine went $10/bottle.

      • with equally good wine went $10/bottle.

I wasn't that far off the mark then…

        • to be fair these wine by OP will never go under $10 in retail or online, unless something goes wrong.
so, $99 for 14 will not happen. OP gives us a good deal, but NOT a super deal which most OZBers looking for - OP please take notes here. :) You need to have a black market 70% off RRP to be popular here, so $158 for 14 is a super deal to me, I'll bite.
I'll give OP a thumb up to encourage him to bring a super deal next time, don't bash them so no further super deals in the future.

        • @Jamesx: I agree with this statement. I did a search on all the wines on the list and it comes to approx $330 for me.
So at $250, it's about 25-30% savings (which is OK, but I wont bite).
I'll keep an eye out for better deals in the future.

  • My rule of thumb on these "deals" is that the wine could be bought for app 50% of what's claimed as "worth/RRP/value of". Whether its from Winedirect/Crackawine/Book depository deals/Qantas and so on…

Sorry OP, you need to post something that's more of a bargain than this "deal" on ozbargain… The folks here would even drill down to the cent in defining what's a "bargain".If the wines were to be bought separately, it won't be fair from $250 for all 14 of them. This yields and average of $18 a bottle… that $18 a bottle can give you decent bottle of red.

Dick Smith has earn a bad reputation on ozbargain for inflating of their products' "value/worth/RRP" before heavily "discounting" them… In my opinion… it does not reflect well on a company and should not be imitated.

  • Now… This is a premium pack from Vinomofo

    https://vinomofo.com/wines/mixed-case/high-rollers-4-00-d43b…

I can personally attest to Lindemans St Georges Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 included in this pack! :) but the price is steep for 6 bottles (considering I have bought the Lindemans St Georges Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 for under $30 a bottle, now that's a bargain, can no longer find it for that price).
