OOPs Accidentaly Washed New Earbuds

I have just accidentally put a new set of earbuds through a wash cycle. They were in the pocket of a pair of shorts and I didn't check. Naughty me. Is there anything I should do so I have the best chance of them working when they are dry.

put them in a bag of rice. the rice absorbs moisture.

leave them for a few days.

once finished - throw away the rice.

    • Thanks for your response. Will do.

    throw away the rice.

No way, the ear wax adds flavour.

ok, find a wedding happening nearby and sell the rice in smaller bags as "special wedding throwing rice"

      • Good idea. After making a nice rice meal for nocure, I will place all the unused rise in bags as you have suggested. Local church, here I come.

Maybe contact the "Importing 1,100 Bags of Rice" importers for a OzBargain deal on "rice".

  • If they are just apple ones they will be fine. Well at least they were for me the 5-odd times that they've been through my wash…

  • Let them dry for a few days

  • i usually put my earbuds in the dryer along with my shorts (dont find them until I put them on again) and every pair have worked fine.
