Bioshock for $5 US Bucks (Ends At 4am) :)

250

Buy this awesome game off steam for just 5 USD.

BioShock is a shooter unlike any you've ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to grenade launchers and chemical throwers, but you'll also be forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you. Injectable plasmids give you super human powers: blast electrical currents into water to electrocute multiple enemies, or freeze them solid and obliterate them with the swing of a wrench.

  • Thanks OP.

  • WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! Why Steam why… Why don't you sell console games for the same price? Why?!?! sobs uncontrollably

    • I think Sony and Microsoft want a big cut of any games sold on their consoles; so there's a limit on how low publishers can go. Plus, you can't exactly publish on the big consoles without a licence (unlike PCs), so there's a built-in monopoly stopping prices from going too low.

    • What jong said along with the fact that games on your PC may not work 100% out of the box especially if you paid as much for your PC as your console.
Can't be too many $400 PC's that can play Bioshock, GTAIV, CoD Modern Warfare 2, Oblivion, and others.

      • actually for $550 u can play those games, since consoles dont come with a screen (tv) the comp wont come with a montitor either
but for 550 dollars u can play those games
and by shuffling a few things around like down grading graphics searching for a cheaper shop that can easily come down to 500

  • its the balance between getting console (cheaper/no upgrades)
with a pc (always upgrade but insane graphics and ease of playing)

sorry i just cant play first person shooters on consoles
i'm a keyboartd and mouse man

  • Nice, I've now got a whole lot of cheap games i've bought on steam but haven't gotten around to downloading because of my limited internet quota :)

    • me too. Looks like I'm getting up at 7am tomorrow to download this so I don't bust my peak quota (groan).
Even so, worth it. All the other steam games posts that have been made today have been pretty mediocre, but this is a definite win.

      • You guys are doing it all wrong =]. Go with an ISP that have steam servers. I'm with iinet, I use the 3fl servers for steam content so it doesn't count to my cap and it's heaps quick. Sometimes steam will try use other servers you just cancel the download then try again you will now which server its downloading from by double clicking on the download in steam and looking at the banner.

So true djones145, I bought an Xbox 360 to play halo. I tried to play COD but its so hard to play multi D: I've adjusted and I'm a bit better but PC is my home ground :)

  • Further to rannetts post, you can actually get a filter that uses ipsec so that you only connect to your isp's steam content server. It's called Frey's Steam Filter - you should be able to find it quite easily with a google search. There is a filter for the following isp's:-

    3FL (iiNet and Westnet)
    Internode
    iPrimus
    Bigpond

    Good luck! :)

    • Yeah, Optus really do suck :(
