Calvin Klein CK One 200ml $28.99 @ Chemist Warehouse

70

This is a dollar cheaper than when it is normally on sale.

you might want to check http://m.checkcosmetic.net/ for the production date before you buy it, because you really don't want to be buying 3 year old perfume.

  • I still have perfume from 5 years ago. I have a small amount left, but should I throw it away?

    • maybe test it on a small part of your skin first to see if the perfume has changed in any way? sometimes with old perfume you might get an allergic reaction.

A true ozbargainer rubs even the empty bottle on themselves ensuring any residual mist is utilised before any remote consideration of disposal…

      • or spray under bed sheets/pillows with anything you thing has gone off, you can also spray a card and leave it in your pocket which makes your pocket and its content smelling very nicely :)

Be careful buying this or any perfume from chemist warehouse. We bought the CK One last time it was on sale, it had absolutely no smell and when we went to get our money back they refused.

    • Yeah no joke huh …

Chemist Warehouse are a complete joke in terms of what they claim to be - a cheaper chemist.

Ordinarily I wouldn't bring this up but their stores seem to literally have a sign anywhere within the customers line of sight claiming they are cheaper than anywhere else.

So when they tried to charge me a "dispensing fee" on a PBS medicine for multiple pickups for the same prescription I accused them of false advertising given that no other chemist has attempted to charge this and further pissed them off by complaining to the Pharmacy Guild lel.

yeah, chemist warehouse colognes/perfumes are definitely diluted. i bought an identical brand name cologne and got given another one as a gift and even the colour is faded, indicating lower concentration.

    that's why they're so cheap.

  • Yep happened to me. Last year i purchased davidoff coolwater and everyone commented on my cologne. Purchased another from chemist wharehouse and I myself can barely smell it. I am about to throw it in the trash!

I bought Davidoff Coolwater from Chemist Warehouse as well and indeed can confirm it doesn't last for more than 5 minutes. Either hella diluted or a knock off.

      VERY disappointed.

  • I bought my usual $10 musk perfume from Chemist Warehouse and I still smell proper sexy. Circa-70s with just the right amount of Disco Stu. So it can't be all bad.

  • Thanks for the site and tip regarding checking the age.

  • They are the worst quality. Yes, of course, value for money!!!!

  • Shit, I bought 3 perfurme there this week, the polo ralph lauren and was thinking about buy a bvlgari. So I should stop buying there?

    • Depends its a gift or for yourself!!

  • I bought Armani Acqua di GIO from Myer and it used to last for like 2 days. Next bottle I bought from Chemist Warehouse for HALF price compared to Myer. It does not last long.

There are products made for each market, and grey imports are the lesser markets products. Now you know why grey imports are often cheaper, they are not the premium product we get in the Australian market. there are plenty of examples of this, cheap RayBans for example. Legit frame, legit but substandard lens, made for cheap markets.
