Chemist Warehouse Price Match

Can anyone help confirm I have understood Chemist Warehouse price match promise.
At first I thought they were like Officeworks and beat a price by 10% but looking more closely it looks as if they match and refund 10% of the difference.
So if an item is $19.99 in CW and $18.99 in competitor, the price match would be $18.89 (10c being 10% of the difference)

  • Good luck with it, they refused to price match for me, even after reporting them to Fair Trading.

Same happened to me last week, refused to price match with a valid deal that was going on at that time.

This happened to me at Chemist Warehouse, Chadstone. Also, the staff was so rude and asked me to go buy the item from the store that had the deal.

  • Same here. Tried to price match using big w catalogue , they refused to price match giving all sort of excuses (price is way below cost price , old packaging, price match with pharmacy only) And asked me to buy it from big w .

i wouldn't buy it from CW, their return policy is totally BS.
I brought baby formula from them and discovered it had a dent on the can. the store refused to take it back, even when I showed them that there were more dented formula tin on selves. for the lack of service and after sale support you won't get it at CW. not worth the 0.01 cent savings you get from their RRP.

if your after the best prices, please do yourself a flavour and check what the other chemist are doing. you might be surprised CW is not the cheapest.

    • Yeah agreed. Most chemists price match these days, and the good thing is that Chemist Warehouse puts their entire database on their website. Hence in my experience, it's really easy to get competitor chemists to match CW's prices
