Be very wary of these guys…they don't appear to stand by their products, and their support is virtually non-existent.

A mate bought some Julius Marlow shoes at the start of the year from them, which he only wore to and from the office, and they started falling apart within 7 months.

This was their reply when he requested some assistance for a fix or replacement:

"we make no such claim that our shoes will last for a period of time"

…and "7 months of wear is considered a decent wear period."

Their solution was to buy another pair of shoes from them lol!

    Buyer beware!

Thanks for your feedback. We always do our best to assist customers. If customers have a problem with their item, we refer the issue to the supplier for review. This would have been the supplier's response to the pictures the customer sent through to us. From my experience, Julius Marlow will honour manufacturing faults but not wear and tear.

      • This would have been the supplier's response

No - this response was from Gary, from the "Brand House Direct Team".

Maybe he was having a bad day lol?

Either way, you've lost quite a few existing and potential customers after that interaction.

Julius Marlow shoes are not particularly great shoes, and unfortunately, 7 months of daily wear (without rotation) IS probably about right for how long they tend to last.

(source: i have owned many pairs of Julius Marlow shoes over the years)

Same…I reckon I must have had about 10 pairs over the years, and they have always lasted well for me (at least a year)…maybe their quality is slipping?

Anyway, it was more the "too bad, just buy another pair from us" attitude that was off-putting.

OP, are these LEATHER or PLEATHER?

    • They are not leather but they are good quality boots.

      • Thanks for the reply OP.

Because if they were actually quality and nice looking boots they wouldn't need discounting… ie. I pay $300+ for RM. Williams Boots, but they look good and last in excess of 5 years a pair.

      • Everything is relative to the price you pay of course.
