eBay Partner Network - Significant Cash Back for Own Purchases

I thought I would share my success with the eBay Partner Network and using it with my own purchases.
Anyone can sign up for the https://www.ebaypartnernetwork.com and it isn't linked to your eBay account.

Simply by adding tracking details to the urls links, I have been getting significant cash back on my own purchases.

It doesn't tell you what items specifically gave you the cash back, but I have been able to correlate it to the dates of purchase.

here are some examples;
23 Aug, 2015 - purchase $178, cash back $15.84, discount 8.9%
17 Aug, 2015 - purchase $66, cash back $7.48, discount 11.3%
09 Aug, 2015 - purchase $356, cash back $27.84, discount 7.8%

The month to date total is $103.37, last month I was paid $171.78 though did buy significant valued items.

A lot better than cashback.

Check it out.

You get paid for qualified traffic you drive to Ebay sites. For example, you can get paid for all the qualified traffic you send to Ebay.

Reminds me of Making the word count

  • Yep, thats how cashback rewards works.

They take a cut. On commission factory you used to get 8% from Wild Earth, I think cashback rewards passed on 3%?

eBay Partner Network is for website or mobile app affiliates. To register you need to understand and agree to their Network Agreement. It is far from "anyone can signup".

  • @thydzik 'Simply by adding tracking details to the urls links, I have been getting significant cash back on my own purchases.' How exactly does this work? I have a website, but not interested in cluttering it with eBay promos…

    • when you create an account, you set up a campaign, and get a campaign id.

at the end of the item url, you then append that campaign id, i.e.
      &campid=12345678

when you create a eBay Partner account, there are plenty of tools that help you generate the links as well.

try it on low value items first, confirm you get the cash back before going all out.

the cash back take a few days to show up on the graph as well.

      • So all I need to do is sign up and get the campaign id and doesn't matter if I run a website or anything? How do they determine how much cashback you get?

        • Edit: just had a look and asks for business information

        • I do have a blog, so I used that when I sign up, no business, etc, the information I made up, but I made it seem realistic.

I get a few clicks via the blog, but they don't equate to anything significant unless they purchase.

Pretty much 99.9% comes from my own purchases.

I am not sure how the cash back is determined, as you can see from above it varies.

  • Thanks for sharing. I will be investigating.

  • Ozbargain has not affiliated with eBay yet so that I guess it is not easy to join, certain criteria apply.

I have been doing some more experimenting.

You don't need to place the refer string on each item url,
only enter the main homepage with the referral id. similar to cashrewards.

    a couple more example cash backi received;
    $1.24, cb 6c, 4.83%
    $96.09 cb $7.68, 7.99%

    • How do you cashout on this?

      • "eBay Partner Network pays all eligible partners on a monthly basis for their previous month’s activity. Typically payments are processed on the 22nd of each month. On holidays, payments are processed on the next business day following the 22nd. For example, you will be paid January’s earnings on February 22nd. If this date is a holiday, you will be paid on the next business day following February 22nd."

"Your combined earnings during a month are over 25 units of your home currency: 25 USD, 25 Euros, 25 CAD, 25 AUD, or 25 GBP. Additionally, all eligible partners will be paid out at the end of the year, regardless of whether the combined earnings threshold of 25 units of the home currency has been met or not."

    • This is affiliate marketing,like Linkshare,CJ.
eBay Partner Network is giving new register 3 months double cashback atm.And from what I know about this one, your cashback rate will be determined by your traffic quality. In other words,if your sale conversion is low, your cashback rate will be low.Cashrewards is not having such high sale conversion generated by tens of thousand users as you do it by yourself so that 2.5% cashback is relatively reasonable and it can not pocket much extra cashback cosidering these factors.
