  I can vouch for neo hybrid (non metal) my kids have dropped my phone down the stairs, on tiles, I've bounced it off the cement footpath. Even the case has barely a scratch on it. But hten I paid under $10 on ebay a few months ago.

  FWIW I have had my note 4 for almost a year now and have 3 different spigen cases. The Ultra Hybrid, Neo Hybrid and the Slim Armour.

  The Ultra Hybrid is the most visually unappealing, however I have found myself using it out of the 3, for a number of reasons:

  • It is the grippiest of the lot and can be safely used and manipulated with one (largish) hand
  • The back is smooth and sticks well to a google cardboard / VR thingo with rubber suction cups
  • The power and volume buttons are well covered and very resistant to accidental presses

  We got the slim armour for the NOte4, dropped the phone couple of times when getting out of the car, very well protected. Recommend Spigen.

  Bought Neo Hybrid originally for the N4 but found it difficult to grip safely, bought the two cases below from Amazon and like the Cimo the best.
