Hi Ozbargainers,
I am looking to buy a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Blackhawk - 6 Cylinder 3.0L Diesel. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this car? I know that the earlier years there were multiple recalls. I have read multiple reviews of the 2015 model and looks promising.
Anyone here have any opinions or advice on this car?

ehhh.. i dislike Jeeps like the small Compass and Patriot and Wranglers and that sort of shit but the big ones are ok for what they are
This is a $60k SUV so obviously you should know the running costs and the likelihood of getting a lemon car from the US is much higher than the Japs or Koreans but man… look at the Grand Cherokees.. they look the business. You'd buy one if you needed to tow or got some use for a 2,5 ton big SUV.
I'd get a long warranty with this one.

Have a look at the run out Mitsubishi Challengers. Can get 7 seat versions too. About $35k drive away

Yeah, depends if by our want to go travelling and expect to come back or not. Not to mention being half the price for a lot of car.
We are looking at a Jeep too. Are they really that bad? They are pretty cheap drive away these days
