Stumbled across this deal yesterday while out shopping with the better half, and thought I would (undeservadly) treat myself.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is currently $39 at Big W for the PS3*/4 and XBox One. Not bad if you don't need (lets be honest - want) the GOTY version.

There were a few copies at the store in Kingsway, WA, for those in the area.

*The PS3 version is currently cheaper at HN at $29 (see Trent's post @ https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/207935) and the XBox $360 version is $26.

I haven't played it yet, but have heard good things.

    Besides price, the GotY version has a couple of additional campaigns, runes, skins, war and missions and challenge modes.

    I haven't played it yet, so I don't know exactly what you get is in the original (challenges, maps and such), sorry.

  Great game but would NOT recommend on last gen consoles. huge loading times, lipsync is out and graphics is shocking. Pick this up on NextGen or PC

    I didn't think my PS4 was very good until I saw a friend paying this on his 360.
    It looks so much better on PS4.

    Btw, aren't systems only called next-gen until they're released?

  Wanted this game for a while now, but with the imminent release of fallout 4, I don't think I'll have time for any new games!

    I felt the same way, but in my weakness for a deal, I purchased.

    Don't get me started on my backlog of PS3, PS4 and Steam games I should get through first. Fortunately, none of the games I have are similar styles to this one.

    I'm hoping Fallout 4 will be fantastic.
