Kids Headphones

Hey OzB community

I'm after some kids headphones as we have our first flight coming up and we may need some to keep the little ones entertained! Has anyone had any experience with the volume limited headphones on planes? Are they loud enough?

Ideally I don't want to spend a fortune so any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

  • $7.50 but low stock

$12.88 @ Officeworks with different colours to keep them separate :)

  • And buy a backup pair…just in case.

  • +1

We've only flown Emirates with our 4 year old & 6 year old. They just used the kids headphones supplied by the airline. I don't know if they were volume limited or just smaller. The kids were happy enough with them. The jacks are different on planes so you may need to buy an adaptor if you intend to use your own headphones with the inflight system.
We use volume limited headphones at home for the kids but my partner bought those and he doesn't care for bargains (he bought Philips kids headphones which are really robust but I've no idea how expensive they were).

      Yep grab these in case

  • EtyKids with an adaptor? It is built with really high resistance so that kids cannot increase the volume too much. It might be bit too expensive though.

  • What about Xiaomi youth headphones? Buy them from Gearbest but ideally should pay more for shipping otherwise they take forever to arrive.

Note: not volume limited, but it satisfies the 'cheap' category…
