iPhone 5C

I am looking to buy and iPhone 5c for my husband, probably 16GB. Are there any bargains out there I should look for. I am in Queensland if that makes any difference.

I am not keen on a second hand one from ebay as I got burnt with a 4S purchase some time ago.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I recommend waiting until Sept 9 and looking for bargains. Apple is supposed to be releasing iPhone 6S on that day and discontinuing the manufacturing of the 5C and I imagine the prices will drop significantly.

  • great idea…Thanks!!

  • I wouldn't wait, The 5c are fetching a premium as they are very hard to find especially in 32gb. The announcement of discontinuation may send the price North. There are people who are chasing these as they are also Blue Tick iPhones, Good Luck.

  • why would that matter… prices should go down across the board, theres nothing spectacular about the 5c

im looking at a 5s myself

  • Currently with iphone 4 on Hot for Vodafone (old plan). Don't think Vodafone had good deal for loyal customer. Will be looking to change to Optus. Currently Optus $40 monthly plan currently had $0 handset repayment for iphone 5c. But thinking worth waiting until new iphone is released, hopefully $40 plan should have $0 repayment for iphone 5s.

  • Thanks everyone for your advice. We are with iinet so I won't be switching plans just now as we have a good home plan. My husband won't use the iPhone to it's full potential anyway which is why I thought the 5C would do him. I have a 5S (which I actually won!!) and really like it.

  • sorry to hijack the thread somewhat OP, but what are people's thoughts on a refurbished 16GB iPhone 5 for $289 with 3 months warranty?

    • in my opinion, if it is Apple official refurbish, it is fine. If not, not worthy for risk
