Two Sticks - "mini" noodle soup isn't really mini and scrapes in at $9.90, or a couple of appetisers for a light meal. Two locations, one near World Square, another on Quay St near UTS.
Also Laksa Laksa, as above, is particularly cheap if you order two at once. Mmm.
If you go as far as Forest Lodge, the Forest Lodge Hotel has specials at around $10 Monday-Thursday nights and $10 pizzas every night for students.
Sweet, potential date venues for under $20 spend :)
$8-9 Chicken Laksa at Laksa Laksa is my go to for a sub $10 treat. They do a fantastic broth — so delicious.
