Sorry all, I didn't realize its always free. The way you add it to the cart made me think it was a paid addon.
That's understandable. Personally I really don't like when developers call free updates "DLC" because it often creates a lot of confusion.
Then what are they supposed to call it? You can't call it an expansion because expansions are paid. Free update doesn't necessarily reflect drastic changes. DLC fits the bill.
I suppose in this case, calling it a DLC is reasonable since the content isn't forced upon you but free updates do still get the attention they deserve if they're done right (see TF2 and its major updates).
In my other post I was actually thinking of a different game where the game forces the content onto you but calls it DLC anyway which causes plenty of confusion. Before someone points out that it still counts as DLC if you're going by the literal English definitions, I know.
It's not just for PC. It's also free for Xbox One and PS4.
