I just purchased a High End DELL Laptop @ I.T. CAMPUS for less than $1000 !!!
I.T. CAMPUS is a computer shop located INSIDE Monash University Caulfield campus (VIC). Normally they only sell to Students and Staff at Discounted Educational Prices. Now they are opening to public at a short period of time. This is the details of the Laptop :

This is the first time I can find any High End Laptop selling less than $1000. Its really a bargain. Most important, I have more confidence to buy it inside Monash University campus. I will be more than happy to share this with everyone. This is the shop details:

    Can you put the exact price in the title - i mean $1.00 is less than $1,000…. Sounds way too much like advertising - bargain king, do you have any involvement with this company?

    EDIT: high end isnt 2.4ghz mate, sorry to burst your bubble. Try 2.7 and up.

      High end changes every 5 minutes. 2.4ghz is pretty high end for alot of people, and far more processing power than the majority of people require.

      The Studio is their entry level really. The Latitude and the XPS are the ones that are geared to last or have good performance I think.

          Well I got a 2.4 Ghz Dell like this - a Latitude with centrino etc, on Graysonline a year ago for about $900, but it perhaps didn't have dedicated graphics. They always have auctions of new or ex demo or seconds of Dell products, plus Acer and HP and others. Haven't really used them for a year though and they've since made their website searchable so it might not be as exclusive.

      I think the one selling at officeworks for $976 is totally different (just browse their website). It only comes with 2GHz Processor, 3GB Ram, 250GB Hard Drive. The one I bought at $999 came with 2.4GHz Processor, 4GB Ram, 320GB Hard Drive. I think its much better value.
