Hi guys.. I have a family coming over from overseas on December 2015 and planning to visit Sydney and surround too. (we are based in Melbourne).
We plan to go from 25 to 28 Dec 2015.
we will arrived at the Sydney airport as early as 7 am .. (the cheapest flight we can get).
do you guys have any suggestion what to do on 25th as I am afraid most shop and attraction are close? we are happy to drive for about an hour or so for lookout, beach etc..
In Melbourne , most shop/ restaurant are still open even on Christmas day so just not sure what to expect in Sydney..

Only restaurants are in Chinatown on xmas day.
Shops and restaurants are open in Chinatown. It is very close to Darling Harbour. So you can get something to eat in Chinatown then head to DH.
