Might be store specific - called two stores and they both said the games were $49 for Diablo and $39 for Sleeping Dogs.
Ive gotten the same response as Firefly. Any chance you might be able to post the reciept? Would really help.

More than likely at one specific store… Definitely doesn't seem nation wide or even at all stores in the same state.

Lucky OP, seems to be store specific. Checked my local Target in Sydney and scanned Diablo III and Dark Souls II. They came up at $49 and $59 respectively.
Dang, looking for a cheap PC copy. Nice price on this one though.
Wednesday I picked up a copy for Xbox One at Target Morley Galleria. Scanned it and was shocked to see it was $17.20. Great bargain!
Just spoke with my local store and although they couldn't price match, they did agree to drop it to $29.
Which store was this?

Would they honour the price if I showed the receipt? Target uses nationwide pricing don't they?
Thanks for the receipt OP. Think I solved the mystery of the different prices across different stores. Brought the receipt in to my local store. They called up east gardens and found out that east gardens is Sydney's only "project" store. The listing on EG's system was apparently showing as $34.50 but EG has a further 50% off clearance items, hence $17.25. As someone else said, EG no longer has Diablo so looks like those of us in Syd are out of luck. Hope this saves people a bit of time.
