Booko Pricing Discrepancy on Blu-Ray

Hi Guys,

I'm interested in buying the Apocalypse Now Full Disclosure blu-ray. When I run the search on booko it is showing me a option for AU$19.58 from Amazon Canada however when I proceed to the site and add standard shipping it wants to charge me AU$31.69. It looks like booko is underestimating the shipping by about $12. Is this an error on booko or is there a way I can get the price it lists?

I've never had this issue before and I use booko a lot.

    Amazon have a per shipment and per item cost. It looks like Booko is including the per item cost, but not per shipment cost.

    It's crazy expensive to get a DVD or Blu-ray disc from Amazon Canada.

      Hey thanks for your reply. Hmmm I dunno about that though. I recently (11/08) bought another blu-ray from them and the shipping was CDN$ 7.99. Total price was AU$30 due to the cost of the disc itself.

      I'm not sure why its so much more expensive for this disc (or 3 discs), perhaps weight but booko is normally so reliable, I've never seen it get this wrong.

      Sorry I just revisited this comment and realized I hadn't checked the link. I'm still confused though. Is it the per shipment and per item cost combined that is costing me AU$20.37 this time? I would have thought that page is talking about something like "minimum $10.99 for the shipment, add $6.99 for each additional dvd"
