Apple Phone and Tablet Chargers

Hi all

I am looking for a solution to the ever growing number of chargers in use in my house. With at least 6 devices (mostly Apple), plus laptops, PCs etc, the number of chargers and cables is getting silly and there is never the right combo in each room.

I've tried a few of the lower price options and have had very limited success, with cables coming apart mostly but, also other problems. The vendors have all been very helpful but, I want solutions that work out of the box and that last for a reasonable length of time and am prepared to pay if they reduce the overall number of chargers and work properly with the devices.

An ideal outcome would be charging an iPhone (5 or 6) and an iPad (mini 2 or air 2) from the same charger at the same time without error messages or, a drop in charge rate. Even better would be doing this via plugging the cables directly into a power board.

Suggestions for certified Lightning cables that are longer than the standard Apple length (around 1.5 or 2 metres would be great) and that also don't produce an error message or, fall apart after a couple of weeks.

Everything coming in reasonable (not too many colours, not too many different colours in a single cable or charger, not too bright, etc) colours or even staying with the standard Apple gloss white would be a bonus but, not essential.

And lastly, portable options would be a bonus too.

I welcome your thoughts (but, not comments on Apple or Apple vs Android).

You might find this article useful. Kogan have some MFi certified cables that are working fine for me (only been a couple months).

Nobody seems to be able to explain to me why and when the warnings etc. happen. It seems to be a factor of power source and cable, but there is some other variable too, as it seems some cables work sometimes but not others.
I ended up just buying mfi cables, even though they are expensive.
