    Hooters.

Why don't you tell OzB the sort of things you like and what interests you. It's no use someone rattling off their favourite knitting museums if you don't like homecrafts.

  • I have been to all of those; if it was me it would be San Francisco and New Orleans (although I haven't been back since Katrina).

If you are confident to drive, and you can rent a car, I would do three days in LA, drive up the coast to San Francisco = take about 4 days, stay in San Francisco about 4 days, drive to Yosemite for three days then drive down the Sierra Nevadas to Los Vegas, roughly 2 days. Drop the car off and do a scenic flight to the Grand Canyon and do a couple of days, then fly out from there back through LA. There are a number of outlet stores, including one in Vegas. Go to the outlet places in Australia before you go and compare the prices over there. Given the dollar comparison you might not get good deals over there.

Although in November Yosemite and Sierra Nevadas might be a problem. Personally I think America would be better in October, rather than November.

    Bon Voyage

  • You can buy 21 year-old males? I knew they could be rented…

  • Regarding tickets, i used these guys and picked the package up from a local post shop in orlando, just had to show id. I assume you can do the same in L.A.

Edit: also be sure to get the disney mobile app, from memory it tells you queue lengths, and has this great fastpass system, first google link seems to explain it:

    • Also, random noteworthy food

Try out 'hot pockets', can get them from walmart, amongst other places.

The gigantic slurpee's from 7/11, they only cost like $1.97. God I loved those

I'm not a big beer fan, so don't trust my judgement, but check out the house beer at the tilted kilt, by far the best tasting beer i've ever had. I think it's the one called tk lager

  • Las vagas has two outlets, the North one is better, you can catch buses from outside. MGM to get there( get the one that doesn't go through the strip)

Good shopping there, head to shops like Ross and tj max, they are discount shops that sell brands which are a season or two old, still dirt cheap, the strip has both, and they close late.

Go to Ross and to max to buy suitcase they are usually around 50-70 bucks and branded samsulite if lucky, they sell quick

    • The outlets are quite good in Las Vegas but the prices generally aren't that great when you take into account the low exchange rate. A lot of things I could buy much cheaper here. Make sure you do your research on prices before you go.
