Cooyoo Quantum SS Mini LED Flashlight $21.99 USD (smallest USB light in the world!)

hey guys i was cruising budget light forum when i came across a group buy for these lights from gearbest. they left the coupons on the forum and they still work when being used at gearbest! seems like a good saving about $10 USD of the light. they appear to be a in demand flashlight… they are also hard to find but from doing some reading the torch brand is very popular in china they have been around since 2007!

I myself have a nitecore tube that is also a USB rechargeable flashlight but this light is 3 times as bright and IPX waterproof and full metal body and it appears to be smaller! so basically its a key chain or neck-less flashlight that is USB rechargeable. they make great EDC lights cause of the ease of use and the size and versatility. 130 lumen is brighter then most aussie store brought torches!

The stainless colour is 21.99 USD use this coupon CYSS usual price is $32.40 USD

  • I have a feeling this will be like Dick.

    • whats that?

      • +4

        I think hes comparing sizes.

      • Gear best is the new dick Smith fyi

  • Thanks OP. Another torch for my collection :| I bought he blued titanium, looks pretty cool.

  • Love the idea of high quality super bright rechargeable EDC lights, buy price still too steep for me… I'll bite if it goes to about AU$15

  • Dammit! I just bought the stainless as well!

  • 'rotary switch' does this mean to turn it off you have to untwist the head just as taking it off… seems a bit clumsy.

    • yes, my Olight i3s is the same. most torches at this size will be twisty rather than clicky, to keep the form factor down to the smallest possible.

it's definitely not as convenient as a button, but it does the job.

      (edit: oops, not associated!) :)

  • This has no low voltage protection
Is it a problem to run this too low?
Do we have to remove head to charge?

    • +1

Yea don't run it to low its bad and the tail cap has to come of to be charged

  • $32 for only 130 Lumens is a bit expensive.
I will expected a least 400-500 Lumen with this price

Also the run time is 30mins - 6 hours?

    • +3

you'd have to pay a fair bit to get 500 lumens in that form factor…

      and/or get zero battery life

    • It's on sale for $21. You never have to buy batteries it is USB Recharged yea the run time is 130 lumen for 30min and 8 lumen for 6 hours. It's also so super small so it works out good nitecore tube is about $10 USD for 45 lumen and that is all plastic with no proper lens system.

  • I was just going to buy this then realise how crap the exchange rate is :(

I've always wanted a torch that was rechargable via USB but preferably not having to disassemble it

  • so who brought one? i have already received mine and it is freaking awesome so much brighter and smaller then the nitecore tube…

it charges fast has a red led while charging and a green to indicate when the charge is finished…

cut of voltage is 4.19 volts so perfect

o rings on all the bits that can be loosen

    its freaking great!!!!
