Nice deal. What brand do you use for the motors? Couldn't find any info on the motors on your website.

    • me too, do you have any photos or specs on the motorised blinds?

    • Yes would be great to know this also.

Direct link or is this a guessing game?

Each page looks like a GUID so you only have to try 2^128 URLs to find the motorised blinds page…

  • Yeah, can you give more info and a working link? Looking at getting motorised blinds so i'm very interested in this!

Just went to the website and there is no info on the motorised blinds at all. The rest of the website isnt bad, plenty of info on the normal blinds and lots of colour choices.

But if you are going to run a promo on an item and link a website, you NEED TO have the info on there.

We are building soon and I'm definitely getting the whole house done in dual blinds once complete. Hopefully by that stage you'll have an informative website on this new product.

Oh, and maybe some video's on the blinds operating (close up) would be good! Ok to instruct people on self installation, but show us the finished product working gives more insight into the product itself.

You'd be absolutely CRAZY to use a battery powered blind in a new build, especially if you have dual on each window.

You are building a new house, so at least do it properly.

      • Just looking at my options bud, but thankyou for advice :).

"Doing it properly" also means an increase to the build price. The battery option (if suitable) allows me to do it later on and DIY.
        Just looking at options.

        • Will cost more in the long run with hassles of replacing batteries all the times and batteries going flat halfway rolling a blind up or down.

        • @asa79: but don't we all have a huge stash of eneloops?

  • I went to that website as well, no info at all…
I'm about to install Somfy for my blind, interesting in buying if this company offer a cheaper solution.

Please Setup your website properly before put it in Oz Bargain as a promo..!!!!

    • You won't go wrong with Somfy. I install their motors most weeks. Great Customer support too.

  • Is this on your website or do we all have to call you?

I don't imagine you really want over 600 (clicks since posted) people calling you for the same info?

  • Has anyone called the number?

  • I rang, it went to a guy who was currently onsite, he said use the contact form to email him if you are interested in the offer.

Just sent them a message asking what brand is the motor.

    Hopefully they reply.

    • Reply:
"We only use Acmeda Componentry in all our blinds."

Any idea how this this brand is compared with Somfy?

  • Well I emailed for a quote yesterday, I am ready to buy, and I got no reply at all - so there you have it folks.

    • Hi, you must have spoken to Peter, please leave some time for him to get back.

I tried to order but the page was not setup for it properly, I then rang, and was told to email via a contact page(always unreliable), I emailed via the contact form on the page, I waited. You answered a query, but not an email for a quote? I am displeased to the extreme, and will take my business to where it is valued. There is a difference between a bargain and cheap.

        • Hi, I have explained the steps below.
          Steps:

          1. Choose a blinds type and enter your measurements
          2. Select the fabric colour you would like to order
          3. Choose the options of the blinds
          4. Add to the cart
          5. Click on the accessories button & add the motor & remote to your cart
          6. Checkout

          Hope this information helps.
