Port out to another offer like a true ozbargainer would

Throw the sim in the bin :)

Start here for $15 1 month: Amaysim Unlimited + 5GB Data $15 1st Month and then port to this 3 months Lebara Mobile deal .

      Total 4 months Unlimited 5GB data for $63.47 = $15.87 per month

      • Was just thinking something similar. 3 months with Amaysim with the 30% off and $39 cashback, then over to lebara. All up 6 months of very good value.

        • well you forgot 1 month of free vaya and then port out

      • thanks mate, bought the amaysim for now and they have already sent me a 50% off coupon for next month

    Optus or VF network?

  • +1

    says Vodafone

I had used Lebara before moving to Amaysim. Don't recommend Lebara. Had frequent signal drop and had to restart phone multiple times.

    • +2

Rather than restarting, try switching Flight Mode on and then off. Works for me and saves time :)

      • +1

        Exactly what i do

@ tavk, it also happens to me on amaysim

  • It's been mentioned already in previous posts but if your just after data these deals are great. I am glad EC continues to keep posting these deals.

Stick them in one of many 4G / 3G routers and hang off a cheaper prepaid plan.

  • Can I use this SIM in iPad Air2 for only Data use?

  • (3) Credit for month 1 comes pre-loaded on the sim card

Im on Lebara at the moment, my plan expires 20th October.
Takes 3 weeks to ship the sim cards, so I should be ok, but unsure, as it doesnt say on there when the Simcard has to be activated by?

  • 3g oonly or 4g? how much after?

    • 3G

Have used groupon/lebara previously. As in the past, you cannot use the recharge voucher until AFTER the expiry date of the initial month or I expect for a 3 month period here: activate + 1 month later recharge + 1 month later recharge. You can't recharge until the end of that monthly period. Even a call to their help desk proved pointless years ago. I expect why is so that you'd purchase more data from them until such time as your recharge date is due. The data from memory then:1gb $10, 3gb $25 so have other data on standby. These figures I quote from the past without updating as in the warm climate im at, gives cause for a Chang beer without further ado ahhhh

Nothing wrong with Lebara, Uses the Vodaphone network, no issues, with data speeds or signal. Ive been to Adelaide, Bris, Sydney, Perth, Melb.

    • Im with you Mayo. This Perth boy states: Vodafone et al Shts all over the supposed 'top two' carriers

  • Doesn't have an expiry? I wonder if I buy and activate next year? maybe I should call them. Unless someone has already asked?

    • Im wanting to know this too!

  • Can anyone confirm this can be used with your existing lebara sim prepaid????

    • +1

Your first month’s credit is pre-loaded onto your sim card. Subsequent months (if purchased) must be manually loaded by redeeming the extra recharge vouchers supplied with your sim card.
You'll need to use the new sim card instead. Port out and port in.

  • code doesn't seem to be working, any one else?

    • doesnt work on all options as stated in deal description

      • ?i tried a few and non worked, so which one did you try that actually worked?

        • All of them working for me

Do you have promo code in Upper case SEPTEMBER

  • Can this Promotion $45 for 3 months works on my existing Lebara number? Please help?

    • you would have to port out on a $2 sim (Voda/optus/telstra) and then port back in

    • No, happy alex

      • Hi SydneyLisa,

"Credit Recharge Vouchers will be supplied with your sim card for 2 or 3 month options"
wont this help us recharge an existing Lebara number?
        Thanks in advance.

        • No.

          See Bintang's comment above.

  • The SIM cards don't have any expiry.

Which Idiot would get a Three Month option rather than three seperate SIM cards, in 3 seperate orders?

You can then use them whenever you want!

  • Has anyone been successful in porting from amaysim to lebara? I have heard people having problems with it and unable to port

  • Has anyone received the Simcard yet?

    • Not yet

  • Expired I think?

  • How long does it take to get a SIM card?

  • Over the moon! Took 4 days for delivery and the $29.90 are all vouchers with no expiry date. I can apply to my husband existing lebara. $15 a month for 2.5gb and all unlimited can't be beaten! I will probably buy another 6 months for myself. Too good to refuse and then who knows, maybe it'll be back in 6 months ;)

    • +1

how many vouchers did they send. 2 or 1 vouchers ?

      • As i already explained all vouchers. I bought two lots of 3 months, so I received a total of 6 vouchers and two separate sims.

  • I am going overseas after 2 months. Can I use two vouchers now and when I come back (after 2 months overseas) use the third? Or do you have to recharge before one expires

    • Yes you can.

      • Why does it say then:
Credit Recharge Vouchers will be supplied with your sim card for 2 or 3 month options, these must be applied within 30 days of the previous credit expiring

  • Any promo code for this?

  • I just got my simcard and I got the 3 month option, In the pack I got 2 recharge vouchers and a sim card with a voucher loaded onto it. Don't know what plan you got fozzie, but I got the National unlimited plan. So this means I have to port out and port back in again :/

    • That's strange…I ordered 6 months of the 2.5 gb and 3 months of the 5gb. I received nano sims with no credit and 9 vouchers with no expiry dates. Did you order nano sims too?

      • standard/micro sim.

        • I reckon then the micro sd/standard have one month on the sim (the rest as vouchers).
Than sucks as I also ordered two micro/standard for myself. I need to move once but the second time I will have to port out and back in….

  • Can anyone give me some ideas what to do! I pickup my registered mail from post office which has contained the Lebara vouchers but I lost the all envelope during shopping. If I reported lost to Lebara will they able to chase the vouchers number to stop it and reissue another set for me?

    • no. once the recharge vouchers have been issues, they cant be cancelled

  • +1

    Thanks.
