Motorola Moto X Play

Been looking at the moto x play, which can be found here: http://www.motorola.co.uk/products/moto-x-play

Does anyone know if the UK version is compatible in Australia? While the specs and phone itself look good I am not very knowledgeable about the compatibility with Australian networks etc. Will moto maker be available in Australia as well?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm… not too sure why the UK motorola site list the moto x style frequencies but not moto x play frequencies…

based on GSMArena, depending on which model it is, 3g may miss out on one or two bands (not too sure how to interpret that mess in the HSDPA section…) but everything else seems to be fine.

If you want to know which frequencies Australia uses, check out whirlpool

I'm personally interested in the moto x style and would love to know if moto maker will be available in Australia as well.

  • i checked and i think the frequencies match up. However ultimately that uk site doesn't ship to Australia.

Here's hoping theres a moto maker for Australia!

Just a quick question, I have the Moto X Style and running Marshmallow, it now uses my 64gb SD card as part of the overall memory size.

Usually if I want to copy photos and videos to an Android phone, I just plug the phone via USB and it recognises the SD card. However now I don't have this option!

Does anyone know how I can copy anything on the phone now?
