  • I suspect Optus is selling the SM-G360G, which has the region codes XSA (Australia, generic), OPP (Australia, ?) and OPS (Australia, Optus). There is no 5.x update for it yet. Not sure if you can flash other variants - probably not. Heck, in my experience it can be a pain to flash cross-region, never mind cross-product-code, depending on how tightly the bootloader is locked.

The SM-G360M has a few 5.x updates for some regions: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G360M

The SM-G361F, which might be an updated version (?), has 5.x, including in the UK: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G361F

    The SM-G361H is similar: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G361H

Unfortunately, they all carry the 'friendly' name of "Galaxy Core Prime", when they're not exactly the same and the firmware may not be compatible - especially with the 361 versions.

^I'd just use that webpage to search core prime and look for the one with your code

^At least the comments suggest all core primes would get 5.0.2 at least, I wouldn't trust it too much though. I've seen the customer service and those vendors getting firmware information wrong several times already.

That said I suggest to steer clear on 5.x unless it is 5.1.1, from my personal experience with another Samsung device I own.
Battery life on 5.0.1 was beyond awful and Samsung's modifications don't help at all.
