XBOX One multiple region accounts like PS4?

Hi all,

Just like to know if the XBOX ONe is capable of doing the same thing the PS4 can do which is to create multiple primary accounts from different regions.
If it is possible how so? Reason is i found that sometimes US has games that are cheaper/ has better deals compared to AUS… ALso how would DLC/achievements works if it is possible to have multiple accounts…

Thanks guys

You'll need to create a new xbox live account. Make sure when you're signing up your country is United States.

When that's all done, go to the settings in your xbox one and select the "system" icon. From there you select "language and location" and change the location to "united states".

Restart your console, sign into your US live account and now you can buy things on the US marketplace.

Bear in mind that you will not be able to use your credit card to purchase. You'll need xbox live gift cards, which you can easily buy via the xbox website. They're sent instantly to your email address

Regarding to achievements, once you have finished downloading everything, simply change the location settings back to Australia on your xbox and sign back in to your main account.

The games will be stored on your hard drive/portable hdd so you needn't worry if the games will work or not.

    • I thought there was a limit/time limit on how many times you can changed "location/region"?

Btw, how do you properly restart and shut down the xbox one? I did some research and it mentions it only goes into sleep mode (regardless it says shut down console)

So in a way it works like the PS4, except you cant log in 2 accounts at the same time and have to change location every time you finish downloading?
