  • Well, ordered 6 pairs of Crew and Sports liner. Though I wear Quarter Crew, but its not on sale here :(

I bought a dozen of this the last time it was posted. I'd say you should only use it in winter time or in cold environments.

If you walk all day or if you sweat a lot, DO NOT buy polyester fabric socks. It doesn't wick away your sweat, instead it simply marinades your foot in it's own sweat. Your feet will smell delicious like unwashed hobo undies.

Spend the extra for cotton or woolen socks.

Only if you posted 1 minute earlier :(. I guess ill make room in my draw… Storing for 1 year

    • Yes I know, I'll throw them out after few use.

Link to some cheap cotton socks?

  • Just paid by Paypal and there was an error screen on the Target website with a bunch of code. Went to refresh the orders and it's not there. However I just got an email from Paypal saying I've sent money to Target for blank item description.

    • I currently see "Currently unavailable online". You must've struck out while they ran out of stock.

Bought last time would not buy again

    • Me too.
Seems like a good deal, but I'd rate them up there with the the worst socks I've ever worn.

  • I bought them last time too - they are thinner than paper!

Good to slide in on tiles though. :D

  • I now only buy Holeproof dress socks.
The only brand I've used that doesn't get holes in the big toes after a few wears.

    • Where do you get them from? I can always only find the Holeproof explorer socks which are too thick for normal use.

      • Yeah agreed, the Explorers are really for bushwalking or workboots etc.
Umm I think BigW is where I normally buy the 3 or 5 packs of Holeproof business socks. Nice thick material for dress socks. And very hard to wear holes in.

  • This a good price but you do get what you pay for. I bought 4 packs of these previously and they are way too thin for normal use IMO. My wife liked them because they were easy for her to wear with her dress shoes, but within days they had holes in them. They are VERY thin.

  • Oh dear, just placed an order and read the comments. Should I cancel the order??! :))

    • Nah, just turn them into sock puppets to entertain the kids.

  • I'll add to this thread.

Ordered 4 pair of black and 2 pair of blue on the last deal.
scrimshaw's comment sums it up perfectly.

They are thin and cheap and if you have 'crusty heels' the sock will 'pill up' after one use.
(Side note the 'Ped Egg' is GREAT for scraping away dry dead skin from your feets. And..for it to work your feet have to be bone dry so it's more manly than a pedicure cuz you are basically dry-scraping your feet like a MAN!)

They get the job done but honestly are probably best used for the females in our lives as a replacement/alternative to calf-high stockings.

Trying to match up the black and blue socks under regular lighting is no fun either. Hard to see the difference…until you are on the train…and the sunlight hits your ankles…and you realise that you have mismatches socks on….again.
