  • They are great games and never seem to age, though the promo must be due to the release of the legacy of the void so these will becomes less popular.
Wish they did a special on legacy of the void …….. they are already taking pre-release orders and you just get access to beta for now rather than finanacial incentive

Havent logged into battlenet for a long time, but All my game stats are gone :o states I havent played starcraft.

Edit, wait it was on Americas and I played on Southeast Asia. Fark these were all done in 2010! 5 years ago.

  • starcraft used to be so big and popular :'(

  • legacy of the void would be a standalong game and do not require this 2 games as base game.

when it is released, there will be so fewer ppl keep playing these older ones so if u want to play online i would suggest not to buy.

    • I actually want to sale my copies but don't think you can because the CD key is used under your email account!?

      • you would get nothing for them and yes you would need to sell the games with the Blizzard account.

I'm only really interested in the single player. How is Heart of the Swarm? I remember really enjoying the WoL campaign.

        It's good fun. Definitely worth ~$12. :)

I think the game should be worth the $12 if I ever get around to play it lol, installed it all ready to go last night.

For some odd reason I didn't feel Starcraft 2 was as popular or better than original. It didn't live long since 2010

I even bought a new laptop just to play SC2 foolish me

    • The original is alway better (when it comes to starcraft) was a very popular game back in the day.

  • +1

The thing about the original was that it was great for LAN parties because it supported TCP/IPX. The new one required you to be online to play which took away a lot of the portability.

That being said, it's still a good game and the storyline is excellent.

    • Yeah it is a shame that a lot of modern games require an internet connection to play multiplayer. Nothing quite like 2ms pings on an fps.

Even with lotv coming out in two months time I really recommend you guys buy these two as well, the mission design is the best by far of any RTS I've played, super varied and fun.

    Great bargain. Great RTS game.

$25 and it will provide around 30 hours game play just playing through the campaign modes.

  • +1

Outstanding price for both games. Can't go wrong, just buy it!

  • Are you able to gift these games through Battle Net, like you can on Steam?

    • thinking of Broden-ing them?

      • Nope, thinking of giving to friends as presents.

    • Yes

  • I still play 2v2 with my mate. We usually play on Americas though because hard to find a game on South East Asia. Let's make a OZ Bargain SC2 Tournament

  • Do I need WoL to play HoS? Was at jb hi fi today and I saw on the box that it does not require WoL to play.

  • The physical copies are really just digital copies still need to download.

Liking the old days just a media offline can install and off you go
