Has anyone had a Split System installation done in Melbourne and recommend anyone. Also price will need to be less than $500 including electricity wiring.

My dad does it. I don't know how much he charges, but from what I heard from mum, he's really cheap. I don't think it is $500 though, as it would be a good couple of hundreds for electricity wiring alone. Also have you got your own split system?
Like Car-la-la said, if you want a hassle free experience, be prepared to pay for it too.

I'll get my own split system, ask him how much he charges if it's back to back walls?No he gets his mate to do the electricity.
Where about are you? He is less willing to travel for hours.
Also I will ask what his schedule is like, he is usually fairly booked out :/ he has had customers waited 3 months for him.

Well mum didn't "tell" me. She does all the billing and I heard her mumbling to herself :P
There's an old saying, you get what you pay for…. anything less than $500 for a split system install and you're going to be disappointed
