      Depends on which model you are comparing. If you compare BX100 to the Sandisk Extreme series then it will be Sandisk Extreme. If we compare to the entry level models, i will say crucial has the edge in terms of both speed and reliability

      I would bite if there was a deal on 5th gen and M.2 SSD
      Leaves the 2.5" HDD Bay for a mechanical drive if I need more storage.

      It's basically a computer with a very small form factor. It's actually quite powerful, more than most laptops. I'm tossing up whether to grab one to use for media player purposes.

    Ozbargained another crucial ssd. The one from the last deal made my laptop boot up in 15-20 seconds running windows 10. Previously with it took 5-6 minutes with an aging hard drive. Thanks OP.

      How old is your laptop and what are its specs?
      Boot time is 20 sec with an i5-460m, 4gb ram, Sandisk Plus 128GB on windows 10.
      Feels like Windows 8 boots slightly faster than Windows 10 for some reason on my desktop, used to be 2-3 second boot times with an i5 4679K + 8gb ram. With Windows 10, it takes 5 seconds or so. This is with a Sandisk Extreme 240GB as a boot drive
