SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 128GB $53.3 Delivered @ Wireless1 eBay

580
CLICK15

Greetings late nighters. Found this while checking out an earlier deal on the 32GB version that was posted today. 87 cents more expensive than the previous deal on the 128GB version - but once again AUD doesn't look like getting better anytime soon, so don't expect too much from amazon in the future.

Local stock also, so should have faster delivery than amazon.

  • How many GB is this after being formatted?

  • +3

mine says 115.7gb. note, its good, but it gets HOT fast! probably because no surface area. paid $49.80 ata amazon and worth it for backup of pictures and music to carry around.

    • That will be perfect for my 113GB Photo library. Thanks for the reply.

      • +2

Just something to keep in mind is that your OS's "GB" is likely displaying gibibytes not gigabytes.

        A gibibyte (GiB) = 1024 mebibytes = 1,073,741,824 bytes

        A gigabyte (GB) = 1000 megabytes = 1,000,000,000 bytes

So, a 128 GB flash drive or memory card is 119 GiB, and may be displayed as "119 GB" by the OS. Likewise, your 113 GiB photo library would be 121.3 GB.

Yeah, read all this before. Hurts my head

does this come with anything to attach to a set of keys?

    • +3

There's a teensy little notch you can use to attach it on the edge of it.

      • yeah i saw but no keyring im guessing?

    • +2

It has a lanyard eyelet for a string loop with a key ring/lanyard. You should not connect a key ring directly, as it will break the plastic.

      • Is the eyelet on the cap, or the USB stick itself?

        • +1

on the usb stick itself. it's the slot under the sandisk logo on the top of the black cap of the usb stick (not the transparent cap) in the photo.

How come Ebay said You saved AU $9.41 on this purchase yet Paypal charged me for the full amount?

    • Yep same here. Looks weird, but in the detail it has only charged $53, and a coupon for $9 applied.
(So full amount paid to seller..)

I wish this deal would last until I got my $50 eBay voucher!

    • Can't stack redemption codes.

  • Real world read/write speeds anyone?

  • +1

If you want something a lot faster (and a lifetime warranty if that means anything to you)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-Extreme-Pro-CZ88-USB-3-0-…

    $79.90

    • Too big

      • That's what she….

    • who wants a lifetime / 30 year warranty for a usb key? 5 years is plenty, in 5 years time usb7 or something will be out, your pro stick will be slow then anyway.

Plus as was said above, too big, people dont get this for speed, its for small factor size..

      • But but, I can get a 1TB portable HDD for only $20 more..

    • great deal, been watching that model for ages… just working out if i actually will use it! lol thanks though!

  • Do we need to enter promotional code?

    • +1

Yea. Enter CLICK15 when you checkout.

    • Only if you want the 15% discount. "CLICK15"

  • Just bought one. It is so small one, anybody know is it easy to plug in and out? Thanks

  • bought a usb stick of these guys (the Extreme Pro that cheescactus linked above)…the box was crushed from shipping, and they had the nerve to put the envelope stick strip label INTO to the envelope instead of throwing it in their own bin!!! seriously???

  • Write speeds even on usb 2 is atrocious. I'm getting speeds been 1MB to 3MB/s copying a 19GB file. I understand that the laptop/pc could have a lot to do with the speeds but this is sad. At home I Was getting around 10MB speeds on usb3. Will do some more testing on other usb 3 pcs.
