GymBetter (Medibank Gym Pass Program) - Now Essentially Useless

New changes for Gymbetter program:

Since the removal of Fitness first at 31st May, there are now further changes:

  • Increase in prices
  • Individual prices per chain
  • Removal of 8 visit cap

With the cap, you could get a gym membership for monthly cost of $68 ($8.50 x 8).

Now with the changes you'll be charged from $8.50 to $10.95 per visit.

So you could possibly still get some value if you use the program occasionally, but any regular use is now useless.

New prices:

  • Anytime Fitness $9.95
  • Fernwood $10.95
  • Goodlife Health Clubs $10.95 ($12.95 at premium)
  • YMCA $8.50

RIP what was once a great valued program.
