Good cheap mobile phone plan. Telstra network.

I have been with TPG for many years now. I need $650 or more calls and 1.5gb of data. $20 per month is what i am paying now.

$20 per month is what i am paying now.

  • Have a look at Telstra's Prepaid Freedom Plus offer for $30 for 28 days. You won't be able to get what you want for $20/month on Telstra.

    • Woolworths uses the Telstra network (3G only)

very very few people have a quota big enough to get the benefits of 4G

        1GB / 2.5GB /3GB / 7GB is a joke.

Kind of like being upset with 100mb NBN and demanding gigabit broadband with 10GB / 20GB / 25GB per month quotas

Waiting 2 seconds longer for their Youtube cat video is probably for the better.

        Regards, 4G user… but just sayin' :)

    • Fyi..it's been extended to Mon 5th OCTOBER.

  • Hoping to come across from voda, which I normally get my -20% recharges from. Hoping 10% for Telstrs isn't too far off.

  • @ daver
    - you could use Coles fly buys as a "discount" mechanism to get Telstra recharges for better than 10% off.

    • Just activated 1000 bonus points ($5) offer; found in inbox; 10d left. cool tip!

If I also consider long-life, $70 365d> wonder if facilities permit funds pooling, and if 24x7 chat may combo, $40+30 (like VF assist).

      • You can get 1 year on T-long life with just $60 by buying vouchers at retail outlets, minimum $70 online. Re combining vouchers, it's doable depending on the agent you get, i once had to try twice

        • Seems the way to go. Where to go for $60 1-year life,- Coles?

        • @daver:
You can buy these vouchers everywhere, for best bang for buck get them at Coles given you have bonus flybuys points (1000 points + 3 points for every dollar spent on telstra)

Edit: get 2x$30 for 2x1000 points then jump on live chat to combine them if you want

  • I use telechoice and i've had no problems (Telstra 3G network)

I've been getting $30 Telstra recharge vouchers for $20 ($19 with MEcard) through targeted Woolworths deals.

Got about 9months worth on standby.

    • a Code or a link.

      • code

  • Half price new boost 4GG (alternating with offnet/amaysim or something, dual sim).
    Aldi.

Also look in to combining a 30+40 recharges and buy T Long Life. Then Switchover to freedom plus. Ten dollars saved in flybuys points would pay first month's data (1G). Should be fine for myVoIP (AU 300mins to mobile)
old Skype plan. Got a New York local number on GV/Hangouts as well.
    Total $15 pm solution.

Must register myself backup EDR/Flybuy cards to gain back targeted deals.

  • Boost

  • Anybody have any dealings with Aldi?

Looking at the small $15 plan and the large $25 plan
