Hi.

Just after any feedback people may have on this system (Swann SWDVK-412504-AU) or recommend a system that doesn't cost any more based on our needs.

I would probably only use two cameras to begin with - one aimed on where our car is parked (5m from where I could put a camera) in the drive way and the other out on the entrance of our driveway/road (about 25m away somewhat lit up being directly under a street light). All cameras could be mounted undercover on our eaves.

    Hi,
    I actually got myself a Synology NAS.
    Connected to IP cams and also use as backup, file server, multimedia server etc.
    Basic cost $200 NAS $100 for basic disk, $150 for two IP cams depend on need

    I'm awaiting a rally on the AUD for this Funlux system.
    Aside from the better res, it's PoE (power over ethernet) which makes installation a bit easier.

      That is an astounding price for what you can get, but they don't ship to Australia!!! I would buy it in a second if I could get it here for that price.

          Well, an update of sorts. Not quite the price it was at on the Funlux US site, but I suppose Kogan see this as a Swann alternative?

          I haven't confirmed this, but it appears they're identical in all but name (and power adapter of course). This same thing happened with our subwoofer. The Nova Sub-80 is the Earthquake Sub-80, simply renamed for export markets.

    Get Hikvision cameras. I've been using their indoor camera for a while and it's reliable. The image quality is one of the best out there.
