iPad Air 2 64GB Wi-Fi

Hey all,

Looking to buy an iPad Air 2 64GB Wifi in grey. Cheapest I can find it is with DSE (http://www.dicksmith.com.au/ipad-air-2-wi-fi-64gb-grey-dsau-…), sadly the deal for the discounted gift cards from Coles ended already, or I wouldn't even have to bother asking about this and would have just gotten it from DSE.

Officeworks sell it for $777, so called them today but of course I forgot that daylight savings had started over east, so called them at 1410 WST and of course they were closed! Now knowing my luck though I'll go to call them tomorrow and DSE would have updated their price to being what everyone else is (all seem to be above $800). They don't seem to have any in stock in any of the stores in Perth, so I can't even go there now and pick one up.

Should I just order now from DSE and put aside my dislike for the company, or hope they don't change it tomorrow and price match with Officeworks and sae ~$35?

  • There might be an upgrade this month. It hasn't been confirmed/denied yet.

    • What makes you say that? Don't you think they would of announced it at the Apple event with the ipad pro and ipad mini 4?

  • +1

The Ipad Air2 was announced in October last year. However, given the other two it may not be on the books for this year. Personally I'm waiting until the end of October before I buy anything; just in case.

    • I would be the same, and was actually going to wait till Christmas before I bought one, but with the RRP changing and everyone charging between $777 and $820 or so, I would probably only be paying more later on. I have a mate who wants to buy my iPad(3) 32GB wifi for $150, so that will bring the cost of the iPad Air 2 down to about $550.

  • Costco ??

    • Sadly.. Perth doesn't have one (like many things we don't have here…)

  • You could by WiSh e-gift cards at 5% off via Cashrewards, I believe they can still be used at DS. I can sell them for 7.5% off if you want some.
