Asus F451MA-VX015H Refurbished Laptop $249 @ Wireless 1 - Includes Free Delivery

20

Bought one for my sister today after trying to find something lightweight and affordable(<$300).
Put an extra 2GB of RAM inside and it will chug along nicely.
Wireless1 have pretty good refurbs as I have personally inspected many laptops in-store. This laptop is manufacturer refurbished by ASUS so you can expect it to be trouble free.
Free delivery on this item sweetened the deal.
Selling for $300+ elsewhere.

I would much rather buy a refurbished Inspiron 14. They are $ 279 delivered, have higher tier quad core processor (N3540) with 2.66ghz burst frequency.

In either case Silvermont is old hat and Braswell (Airmont) is on it's way here, should see some new cheap fanless laptops land possibly by Xmas.

    • i bought exact same one that scrimshaw mentioned. it doesnt RJ45 plug or dvd drive as its very thin. dvd drive doesnt bother me but I got stuck couple of times with RJ45 plug when my ethernet powerline adaptor somehow lost its pairing. ended up using work laptop for RJ45.
other than this one instance, the dell inspiron 14 is awesome buy.

not a deal, I couldn't find the model I bought, it's an ASUS 4GB QuadCore Celeron for around $300, brand new in box, DS or JB has it.

  • You gotta admit $249 is pretty cheap for surfing the web, Facebook and email.

If you get a year or two out of it, it'd be worth it.

not sure if this laptop can even run explorer

    • That's a bit of a stretch.
My main laptop is a 4GB dual core Pentium with only 4GB ram from 2009. My work PC is a 2006 Lenovo. Go figure.
They have a 30 day money back guarantee so if it is really shiite and she hates it I will just take it back.
