Latina Fresh PDF eCookbooks - Free download!

222

Latina Fresh (makers of fresh pasta/sauces) has two free pdf eCookbooks available for download on their website.

Volume 1 Direct Link (4.75MB):
http://latinafresh.com.au/ecookbook/pages/RECIPES.pdf
Volume 2 Direct Link (2.76MB):
http://latinafresh.com.au/ecookbook_v2/pages/RECIPES.pdf

I realise not everyone is into this sort of thing but I've liked them so much I think it's worth posting.

If you don't use the direct links above, you have to fill in a short form that includes name, email etc.

The bad:
- Marketing - ~80% of their recipes list one of their products as an ingredient.
- Their products can be pricey when compared to similar or alternatives.
- Types of recipes are oriented to suit their product range - I would describe it as modern Italian/Australian? They also appear to be summer-type meals (a positive - appropriate for this time of the year).

The good:
- There are a few recipes in there that doesn't use their products, I especially like the drinks part at the end of Volume 1.
- For recipes that do, their products may be substituted for other brands or similar/cheaper products. I have done so myself quite successfully (e.g. used dried and cheaper Fettuccine than their recommended fresh product).
- Wide variety of recipe types - e.g. Vol 1 is divided into starters, light meals, salads, mains and drinks.
- It's free, well presented and I believe you can never have too many recipes around.

Have fun cooking!

    • thanks for the pickup. Almost a year old. It has a few votes. I might let this one stand

    • Sorry, I missed that in my search. Vol 1 has been around for awhile but Vol 2 is new so I guess partial dup.

  • I don't get how this is a bargain… This is just the same as the carnation .pdf's that were just posted, a .pdf on a website is hardly a good deal.

    • It's not a bargain, that's why it's listed under freebies……..

Unless you'd like to list every marketing department recipe on the web as a freebie, this is not a freebie. It's a waste of space.

        • i found it useful… as did others…

if you don't like it, don't read the post and don't download the file…

By the way, if you want to troll other recipe freebies, look here…

        • Timski and MildMax,

You guys are entitled to your own opinions and freedom to 'neg' here which is fine and I respect that.

I did state very clearly in my OP post "I realise not everyone is into this sort of thing but I’ve liked them so much I think it’s worth posting." - in other words, I posted this here because I've used it, like it and now recommend it to others. I don't believe that is quite the same as "to list every marketing department recipe on the web as a freebie"

It seems you guys don't think this sort of thing should be listed as a freebie. Perhaps more appropriate in your opinions in the forums? If this is the case, I am happy for you to start a thread there to discuss this with the mods and the rest of the OzBargain community? I think this would be much more constructive than to 'neg' every other receipe freebie listed.

And no, I do not work for any of the companies which I have posted deals for.
