Best Next Gen Mobile Phone, on a Plan

Hi
Looking to get a next gen mobile phone (like Note5, M9, S6, iPhone 6s) on a 24 month contract plan.

Which one offers the best value for low usage user?
Any recommendation?
Thanks.

  • I go with Virgin, they are the cheapest and using Optus line :)

  • Its hard to determine value without establishing which phone you want and what you call low usage? Most plans are standard and you just pay for the handset. Also depends on what coverage you want and if you need 3g 4g. In summary, need more information

    • Hi.
Low usage would be 50mb, $300 calls, 3G good enough

  • Prepaid generally most flexible, followed by Sim only. - The device should not be the point of your contract consideration. Most tel-cos offer long life options for- budget.

  • As above, if you're a low usage user of calls/data then prepaid is easily the best way to go.
    Buy the handset outright.
LG G4 is pretty hard to beat for value/performance.

EDIT:Scratch that - grab the Moto X Play from this deal.

    • Work will pay for a plan. Not a handset.

  • Anything but an m9…

    • Why?

      • Terrible camera (worse than the much older Galaxy S5, based on PhoneArean's blind test results… which is based on tens of thousands of votes, look it up).

I think that's mainly it. For the price it demands, it offers too little, especially compared to say, the LG G4 (which is a huge bargain on its own).

  • In terms of a value low-use plan with a mobile, Virgin Mobile tend to be a good place to start.
