Was going to post my leftover keys from the latest bundle, then realised I probably have a lot of other keys from past bundles so why not clear them all out at once! Please post after you redeem keys so that others don't have to guess at what is still available. Hope you enjoy the games =)

    I hate those people that take things, many of them, and don't even say thank you. Really pisses me off on this site.

        Likely to be non-members. There are some seriously f… up people out there.
        A lot of them get free keys from Indiegala deals and then post on the same site that they want to trade those keys for other keys when in fact everybody can get a free key. Maybe it's me but I do not understand their mindset and why they would believe that anybody would trade another game for a free key which is still free to obtain for everybody.

      I've stopped posting any deals because of the attitude from some on the site. (I even got "auction bombed" by one)

        Same here. I only post certain deals here, for various reasons.
        I have said so many times that something must be done about the attitude of some people, especially in relation to the way people are talked to and sometimes virtually bullied into submission for posting deals but so far it has only got a little better unfortunately.

          Thank you Lysander, I'm pleased I'm not the only one to see it.
          I'm a bit old fashioned and brought up with the attitude that "community" meant helping each other. Sadly that doesn't seem to apply as common these days.

          @whodidthat: Thank-you to the OP; not my thing but I always appreciate the effort to help others. I'm sick of being hassled when I post deals as well. If people are interested in a deal they should go have a look, if they aren't then they should move on. You either have to grow a thick skin, or not bother to post deals. Neither of these is ideal with developing a sharing environment.

          @kaneissik: The problem is one person's banter is another person's putdown. It actually takes a bit of time and effort to enter a deal onto this site, and if the reaction is negative then you are wary of doing it again. Helpful pointers on how to improve the post are welcome, particularly if they come with a thank-you for posting. But denigrating what people have posted only puts people off, and the ozbargain community is poorer for missing out on any future deals this person might find.

          I'm about to ask a dumb question, how do you post a new Forum question. I know how to post a deal but I can't figure out how to post into the Forums. If someone has step by step instructions I would be grateful. (For this question I am open to people mocking me as I am sure I've missed something simple here.)

          To start a forum thread, go to whatever category it's relevant to and then click the "New Topic" button on the far right and you can create from there.

          If you want to actually create a poll for a question, go through the same hoops but near the bottom unhide the "Poll Settings" and change the settings.

          @whodidthat: there was a "free" $25 coupon from some store posted as a deal a while back. You had to be a store member to have received a coupon. I got one of the codes but wasn't going to use it. It was a popular deal so lots of comments. Anyway I offered my coupon to first to pm me. Some newish member pm'd me and I gave the code. 3 pages later the user posts he has a code for sale for $10. Some other user buys it. I contact the buyer and ask for the first and last 3 digits of the code. Its the same code. Mods banned the user. So now I only give codes/vouchers etc to "established" members. Some people have been generous to me and I've been generous to others. Be cool to each other, don't be a douche bag

          That is a terrible story. Unfortunately, I can relate as many people are douchebags these days and are only out to make a quick dollar, regardless of morals, ethics and other values.
          Really disgusting. At one point it is this attitude that will make me take a job abroad. Even if people were similar, at least I could be ignorant due to the language barrier. ;-)

      If OP wanted to be strict, he/she could have asked people to send PM for one key and one key only.
      That way, OP knows the history of the requester on Ozbargain (whether just signed up 10 seconds ago, or years ago)
      Granted this will involve a bit of work for the giver.

    Lol had no chance, I was at work and you need to enter the keys into the steam launcher itself. no way to do it via a browser from what I can tell.

    It'd be a good idea to post them in a members only forum category or something

    By the way, if anybody else has spare keys, you are also welcome to PM me and I will trade with you.
    For example, a key for Botanicula or Goodbye Deponia would be great for the kids. Or Gone Home for me. ;-)

    Apart from possibly getting games you don't have it will also prevent the ravaging of keys by people who cannot even be bothered to say thank you.

    Commendable actions for the op and those that contribute. Just be wary however there are bots out there that take these codes automatically. You're better off pming people instead. Perhaps hold a competition? Would be good for members instead of lurkers and guest. (Not that there is anything wrong with them)
