Sounds like a good deal just for the gift card. I will upload a picture tonight. It's a while stocks last deal but it only just started on the 16th.

      Got a pamphlet in the mail. Called them and asked about it and they confirmed it. I can't find my phone cord but I'll use girlfriends camera when she gets home and upload it. Just says what I typed in with a big "Back to school special" heading.

    I can so see people going in here just to get the voucher, being told their tyres are not road worthy and having to fork out $400 for new tyres :)

    Hard to believe this since there is no benefit (infact loss) to Bridgestone - there should be some catch!

      Unless Bridgestone has an agreement with Officeworks and managed to get the Officeworks gift cards for less than $35.

      It's pretty unusual to see Officeworks gift cards being offered, usually it's Coles or Woolworths.

          It's part of the Coles Group Coles gift cards are not accepted at Officeworks, but that's not the point that I was trying to make.

          I was making the point that promotions involving either Coles or Woolies gift cards are fairly common, but I've never seen a promotion involving Officeworks gift card. It probably means that Bridgestone reached some sort of agreement with Officeworks and hence is able to offer this deal where they appear to lose $15 on each customer.

          I understand that they also get the customer who will pay for other services while they're there.

    i emailed a store in QLD and they said "Yes, just bring in the letter box offer" i guess they want to see the original pamphlet? what do you need to do to receive the pamphlet in the mail box? do you need to sign up via their website to receive marketing or was it just a random junk mail mail out?

    i got the Sydney pamphlet in the mail 2 days ago. Reference website is www.bridgestoneselect.com.au

    It doesn't say you need to bring the pamphlet in as proof. It's a random/junk mail out. I would just call and tell them you want that offer.

    Personally I don't think its a good offer as tyre shops will give you a free battery test and tyre inspection.

    A wheel balance is useless in most cases, only good if your wheels are damaged or in poor condition.

    It's the wheel alignment that is of any benefit.

      Your a hard marker. Good deal on the face of it but I am sure the hard sell will come out with them trying to sell you a new set of tyres.

    I called the Sumner Park store and the fitted me in this afternoon. This was very convenient as I had a flat tyre that needed repairing too. My car passed all tests and there was no 'Hard Sell' at all. Good deal I think

    Just registered with oz bargain for the first time.
    I just got a really good deal thanks to this post.
    I purchased a couple of Bridgestone tyres R92-205/65 after getting them price matched for a 109 dollar each from Magill road.The staff there looked after me so well (No haggling at all) and gave me the bonus OFFICEWORKS 50dollar gift card in addition.So the tyres effectively cost me 81 dollars each.Branded tyres at such a good price!!!full peace of mind!!!and no worries about safety!!!!.full marks to the poster!!thanks mate!!!
