[PC] Nuveem.com: (GOG) The Witcher III Hearts of Stone $10.49 (VPN Required)

40

Warning: Use at your own risk! You have Been Warned

VPN: TunnelBear

I managed to Grab the Expansion Pass of The Witcher III for $24.29 and the pricing for the DLC alone is $10.49 which is slightly Cheaper than GOG.com ($35.89 For EP and $14.19 for DLC)

Here's how to do it

  • Download a free VPN Service TunnelBear and Install it on your computer
  • Select The country Brazil and Turn On the VPN
  • Go to Nuveem.com (I used Firefox), select the DLC then checkout (you need to register before buying)
  • Here is the tricky part, you need to make sure that TunnelBear was turned on (sometimes it's still loading) otherwise there will be a warning that tells you the item is not available in your country, if there is no warning proceed to pay (Preferably PayPal)
  • A small Window shall pop up (in my case it doesn't pop out in Chrome) which will link you to PayPal
  • You will be directed to the page where you will need to Enter your PayPal Username and Password. At this point, TURN OFF TUNNELBEAR and wait for it to shut the connection or else PayPal will return you to Nuveem page and won't continue the Transaction
  • After logging in you will be directed to the page where you will confirm the PayPal Payment at this point, TURN TUNNELBEAR ON again and wait till its connected then you can confirm your payment or else the same case will happen like the one mentioned above
  • If you follow the steps carefully the transaction will be approved and you should receive the key Immediately

For Security Reason, it's recommended to change your PayPal password after this transaction

  • I've used Hola to buy off Nuuvem before without any problems - no need to change paypal password or anything like that.

    • +1

Hola is known to sell your traffic to strangers for a price it's not really as safe as you think and it barely works for some of us, or else i will buy it with Ukraine VPN which is insanely cheap.
You should Check this out http://adios-hola.org/

and As for TunnelBear, it gave use 500mb to use for free users, and for a small transaction like this its quite useful

      • I had hola installed on my machine for ages thanks to someones kind suggestion here. I thought it was a simple VPN program.

Thanks to that advice I have been paranoid about what exactly my connection was used for taht time. Probably nothing but I am guessing most people who use hola aren't trying to get cheap games like I was.

        • Your Welcome

        • @Meliodas:

Oh I worked it out awhile ago as I installed it as a passing thought. Really should have known better as I work in IT but I must have done it on a drunken whim. (NEVER OZBARGAIN WHILE DRINKING)

I noticed some traffic I wasn't expecting then remembered installing it and I was like oh shit I must have had this running for ages.

However I am sure it's fine but seriously hola is so messed up. How do people create something which can (profanity) people over that much and act like they are doing people a favour.

        • @kasp: that's what we call Human, an old Chinese proverb says that its easy to draw a tiger. but it's hard to draw it's bones, means you can easily remember one's people but it's hard to judge their thinking, the same as don't judge a book by its cover I guess

  • Nice, ty OP.

I didn't turn the VPN back on after order confirmation, but it still seems to be working for me. Although I had a note/warning on the confirmation page that my order could be reviewed for errors, however I got my code and activated it on GOG successfully.

    • Glad you got it, anyway enjoy your game and happy hunting

  • Tried this myself the other night (before this deal was posted) and found it worked perfectly. Same combination - Nuuvem site with Tunnelbear application.

Think it was a bit cheaper as I calculated the conversion to about AUD$8.30 or so.

    • the conversion is a bit high today, i guess i should have bought it earlier
