    AirBnB

My family always uses AirBnB - Mum's 75 and on her way to Bordeaux today :)

  • Join www.airbnb.com (as in bed & breakfast) and you'll find a world full of accommodation.

You can put in all your requirements including price, kms from CBD, number of rooms etc. Bon voyage mon ami/e

    Mid 50s is not senior

    • Thank you

      • Absolutely; tragic you think of yourself in that way.

We normally look at IBIS hotels and Sawday's for our accommodation. Both are pretty reliable; but I think they are a little above your price bracket for the day you are nominating.

    • True thanks, and I only used that term as a subject line grabber

  • Thanks everyone. I joined airbnb, and just booked with Charles - his apartment for $101. Really close to Paris centre.
He had lots of good reviews.

    • Have a good time. I would be interested to know what you think when you get back. Had a look at air bnb and it might be worth exploring when we travel next.

      • I used it almost exclusively when I was in the USA a few months back (and two years before that). Really good value. Generally slightly cheaper than a hotel for two people (although it can get much cheaper depending on what sort of accom you'd settle for), and you don't have to deal with sullen hotel staff haha. No tipping or anything like that either.
