This sort of deals tend to sell out fast so try to get in early.
From my experience, they are mostly one offs but a few of the lines do resurface a little while later (tools, LED globes, etc). I bought one of their toasters for work and it is great but I bought one of their powered indoor TV antennas and it stopped working just shy of one year old (but I am a habitual receipt-keeper so I took it back and got my money back). Hey 30 bucks is 30 bucks.
I'm looking to buy one of those indoor TV antennas too. Would you mind sharing your experience pls?
The indoor antenna worked okay at first, not bad reception for my area (but not fantastic) and we had to mess around a little to find the right location. After 11 months or so it just gave up the ghost. You can't beat an external antenna, even a cheapie would work well. Aldi are great with their returns though, so give it a go and if you don't like it, take it back with your receipt.
Bought a few of their lumia products (toaster, bread maker, havaiana thongs) and they seemed OK.
I recently started looking at their 'Special Buys' and I'd like your opinions on the quality of Aldi stuff and whether or not these deals ever show up again or if they're just one-offs?
