i would like to know what the traffic is like to commuting from gold coast to brisbane around 7am and 5pm?

In the morning it's ok until you get to Beenleigh / Logan, nightmare after that… Afternoon sucks too. Catch the train if you can it has free wifi :)

If you live in Brisbane and commute to the Gold Coast it's probably a little over an hour each way. If you live on the Gold Coast and work in Brisbane, it's almost double.

Very, very busy. Something like 14,000 people drive from the Gold Coast to Brisbane (and back in the evening) each day. 7am and 5pm are amongst the worst times to be on the roads in those directions. Is the train an option for you?
