Hi OZB community. Need your advise on where are the cheapest mattress prices are within VIC. This is my first time purchasing a new mattress so I have NFI where to go (other than the usual joints, Harvey N and Super Amart)

Sorry forgive my ignorance but what is a floor model? Is it similar to ex-displays?
yeah a display model,
a lot of Opshops now stock them (new) worth a look.
Do you know any opshops around the CBD area? When I think of opshop i think of Salvos

Check out www.chiropedic.net.au It's a family owned manufacturer in Victoria with 5 retail outlets plus an online shop.
I've bought 3 mattresses over the years from them unseen/untested and have been very happy with all of them. Good prices, helpful staff, frequent sales and first order discounts.
Mattress shopping is f'ed all the manuafacturers name each model different for each store, even though they are they same. It works pretty well for confusing the customers even more. I started at harvey norman, went to about 10 different stores, then finished at harvey norman. Not saying they are better than anywhere else, they are probably one of the worst companies to buy from, but I got a sweet deal on a floor model.
